Katrina Kaif’s health is starting to worry those who know her. Only a little while after recovering from a long illness in the past few months, she has fallen ill again. The actress has been suffering from food poisoning since Monday night. She has been advised complete bed rest by doctors. However, this will create problem in her busy schedule. She needs to dub for Prakash Jha’s ‘Raajneeti’ and it is a major cause of stress for her as it involves pure Hindi; something Katrina’s having trouble with. She has even admitted to having difficulty with the language as everyone else on the team can say the dialogues with ease while she has to struggle with it.
Stars overhead automatically seem to align in their favour whenever Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif come together on the silver screen. From Namastey London to Blue, the duo has enthralled and enchanted the movie buffs with their unmatched chemistry.
Now, the Akshay-Katrina juggernaut rolls on further with this Friday’s release De Dana Dan.
“In the film my character is crazy about Katrina. But he’s poor and she’s rich. So he has to find ways to impress her. For this he even commits a crime which goes wrong…the film is a non-stop comedy,” Akshay said about the movie.

Shot at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai during a six-day schedule, the track choreographed by Ganesh Hegde is titled Main baarish kar doon paison ki. Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif, who was wearing a sari while shooting for another song, had a little wardrobe disaster when her sari shrunk in length after getting drenched in the artificial rain. Director Priyadarshan ensured that the shoot went on smoothly by opting for close-ups of the actress, thus avoiding the need to arrange for another similar sari. The schedule also saw them teaming up with other lead actors – Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia – to finish patchwork scenes for the film. The Screen photographer spotted Sameera Reddy arriving at the studio in a bright, chirpy dress, just the right thing to drive away the monsoon blues.
